What was your first “real” job?

My first REAL job was right after high school. When you were a senior at my high school the bank would award one job to one senior and I got it!! I started working in the bookkeeping dept of the 1st National Bank in my hometown. I worked there until Mike and I were married in 1964 (yes that long ago).

Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?

To Michaels; A.C. Moore or any craft store!! I love to scrapbook and crochet!! In fact, I am making another afghan now!!

What values did your parents instill in you?

They showed me how to be a good, loving and truthful person!! I try to follow what they instilled in me. I watched them struggle every day of their lives. I have had a better life than they did but still struggle!! They also showed us how to work hard and always be a good worker and to respect our leaders or supervisors. Both my brother and I are hard workers.

Name 3 fads from your teenage years.

Beehive hair dos. I never had one but a lot of the girls did! It has been so long ago that I cannot think of any others. I was not into fads!! I could not afford them because my parents could not.

P.S. I have had a very very bad virus!! It hit my laptop yesterday!! I thought for sure that all was lost...but thanks to my next door neighbor, Harold, I think we are going to be okay. I am typing this on my hubby's PC. Everyone be very careful. Somehow this attached itself to Internet Explorer and opened up all kinds of windows in IE. I came into my computer room and my laptop was a mess...The desktop was a bright red!! Be careful...
