We are here at my parents in Illinois tonight!! Mother and I went shopping at the Outlet Mall and found some good bargains!! Now we are tired!! I just checked my email and was trying to get some things weeded out from it!! I thought maybe you might like to know how my hubby's brother is doing!!

We spent a LONG LONG day yesterday at the hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana!! My hubby has a big family and the majority of them showed up to support and be there to pray for Sonny before he went into surgery!!

Everyone in the room (some 17-20 of us) gathered together around Sonny and prayed for him. They came in and took him off to surgery around 8:00 am!! There was a lot of tears as so many of his family were really worried about this surgery!!

We all gathered in the ICU waiting room. The surgery did not completely start until 10:00. They came in and told us that they had him on the bi-pass and that everything was going great!!

We played games, read and talked for hours and hours!! I think I read almost every magazine in that waiting room!!

That room became like a cave eventually and getting out was such a wonderful idea!! Lunch and supper we finally left!! The operation was over around 3:00!! He came through it very very well!! I did not go back in but let the immediate family go!! I did go in later on and he looked and sounded great!! What amazing things the medical profession can do now!!

This morning we took off and came here to see my parents!! We are staying the night then heading back home. We will stop in the afternoon and see Sonny again before heading back to our home!!

Thanks everyone for your prayers!! We really, really appreciate it!! We feel like this is pulling Sonny through!! He told my hubby to be careful and watch himself!! This runs in their family!! Now we have to watch him carefully!!

FLIP FLOP SIGNING OFF TIRED TONIGHT!!
