Hello everyone!! I have not been able to blog much lately because of working!! Yes working!! I have more hours this week at CURVES which is great for me since I really need the hours!! The girl that does the morning shift is on vacation so i got to take most of her hours!! Monday was a great day!! We were so very very busy, the computer had a problem, I signed up another new person, we had a lot of women come in...it was just a good long morning!!
I was called at work by Barb from Baba's Blog to let me know that i had won a prize from Peggy over at Homestead Haven!! I was so happy about that!! She makes soap out of goat's milk and not just plain goat's milk but from Diva's goats milk. That is her goat!! I have been reading her blog for sometime now and have always wanted to try it!! Now i get too!! YEAH!!
Update on our wonderful male cat Simon!! I have been putting up with this cat for sometime now!! ( only because I LOVE my husband)!!! He has been wetting outside of the litter box for a long long time!! Finally we took him to a GOOD VET and got him on anti-biotics and hormones!! Not male ones but .....aaaa female ones!! Our vet, Heather said this would make him "think" he was female. Well, it helped for a while and now it is not working again!! SO NOW!!! I am going back to the vet to pick up YET more medicine...this time she is trying some VALIUM!! Of all cats he needs this or maybe I need it..who knows!!
I have the medication now plus a stronger anti-biotic. I got him down and pumped the medication down him. I am giving him some time and then I am going in for the pill..the valium!! He will probably get drunk!! But let me tell you...I would love to see this cat calm down!! WHEW!! He is actually scared of himself!! That would be an awful thing!!
On the way to the vet today I was hungry. I had just got off work. I stopped and got a new thing at McDonalds...a snack roll...very good and a cold coffee...vanilla!! What a treat!! I am glad that I don't live really close to Mickey Dee's or i would be there for that Vanilla cold coffee a little bit too often I am sure!! It is good!!
My hubby's older brother was taken to the hospital Sunday. He had a heart attack!! He is back in Illinois. The last we heard is that he is going to have to have a triple bi-pass. This has concerned all of my hubby's siblings because you see their father passed away at the young age of 51. He had a heart attack in the field while farming...My hubby was only 21 at the time. By the time the brothers got their dad to the hospital it was too late!! In day's world they would have been able to save him. Since then each brother and their sister have been concerned when they reached the age of 51. Everyone of them has gotten past that age now!! Now hubby's oldest brother has had a heart attack. (he is almost 67) Now i am very concerned for my hubby!! You would be too.
Last Sunday we had a fun thing at our church. It was called Family Fest. It was held to thank we who work in the First Connections at our church...greeters, ushers, anyone who first meets people as they come to our church. We ate outside by our big lake and then had drawings of nice door prizes. I won the first door prize!! Me, yes Me!! i won a BIG golf umbrella!! I can always use that down here but i just hope that a big wind doesn't come along or i will definitely be a Mary Poppins floating to some new place!! It is that BIG!! You might be seeing me flying to your house!! SMILE!!
I bought a new toy yesterday because of MR. SIMON and his messes. It is called a SPOT BOT!! It cleans up his spots...the fun thing is that you can just sit it on a spot...set the buttons and it sits there and does the cleaning while you walk away and do other things!! FUN!! I like things that clean while you do something else!! All cleaning should be done this way!!!
Well I have rambled long enough..SORRY!! Just things that my head needs to get cleared out and then maybe that will make room for more information! I guess it is like using the delete button here on the computer!! Now I can forget some of this..WHEW I wish that I could just forget!! Simon will not let me forget his messes!! WHEW...Stinky Simon...

Hey babe, it was so good to talk to you yesterday....I forget how much I miss you! Hope the Valium calms Mr. Simon down.
Hello my friend, that simon is really keeping you busy, lol
I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying your job at Curves so much:-) Congratulations on winning Peggy's giveaway...you lucky gal!! I've tried some of her soaps and you're really in for a treat because they're wonderful!!! Oh dear, Simon really has been keeping you busy...you must really love your hubby, I would have gotten rid of him (the cat, not the hubby lol) a long time ago!! That spot cleaning machine sounds fabulous...as you said, all our cleaning should be made that easy! lol xox
I hope you enjoy your soap and other items. Sounds like you need a nice quiet bath to relax after being so busy!
Simon sounds like quite the Cat!! Bless your heart!! What we do for our family!!
The new spot cleaning deal sounds great.

Sounds like you are having a time with that cat:) Hope Uncle S. is doing better. Glad you are getting more hours at work, keeps ya busy. Congratulations on the prize!!!
Good evening Sandy,.. You are the star Curves worker this week..Signing up another member...I am hoping and praying your brother-in law does well with his surgery...My daughter in Atlanta had to put one of her cats on tranquilizes this week. She has three cats and this one is so skittish around the other cats...we will see how it helps.I will see you in the morning at Curves. Barb
LOL! I'm sO glad you had a good and rewarding day at Curves this morning! And you signed up a new member and that is the best! Helping people and encouraging them to workout and take care of their bodies! That IS good work!
Ohhhhh I haven't been over to see Diva the goat in a long LONG time! I'll have to run over there. CONGRATULATIONS! I bet that soap is niiiiiiice!
I like those McDonalds' vanilla (and hazelnut) coffees too -- but beware... they are not SKINNY! LOL! Another good reason you don't live too close to them!
That SpotBot does look like fun! I agree that all cleaning should be done by SOME sort of Bot! But Simon looks sO sweet and innocent laying there....
I had a male cat named Simon - he was quite a character. I miss him so.
Silly Simon... You must take a picture of him in his drug induced bliss... Poor kitty.
I hope your hubby has a good cardiologist and goes frequently.

You have certainly been the lucky one this week winning 2 prizes!! Congrats!!!
Don't get stressed out at Curves and start taking Simon's meds!!! Hopefully you will be able to find the right mix of meds to help Simon with his problem.
Hi Sandy. Congratulations on winning a nice prize.
Sorry to hear that Simon is continuing to get on your nerves. He is so lucky that he is still in your house despite his behavior. I really hope the new medication will help him.
Wow, that's a cool gadget. First time I've read about anything like it.
I hope that your husband's brother is doing much better now.
