This week I am thankful for many things as always. I enjoy being able to list these blessings every week because just to see them written down in front of me helps me to realize just how thankful and blessed that I truly am:

  • My dad turned 89 years old this week and is a very healthy person. What more can a daughter ask for!!
  • I am thankful for my husband and his determination to keep working even though most days he hurts everywhere.
  • I was offered and given a part-time job this week that will fit perfectly into my schedule. This will allow me to still help with church related things and with my grandchildren but allow me a little tinee bit of income. CURVES here I come!!
  • I am off to the Women of Faith today in Atlanta hoping that I can keep a group of 17 ladies together. Since I am the bus leader also praying that we find where we are going!! smile. I am thankful that I am able to go health wise and financially too.
  • I am thankful for the opportunity of meeting such a great man named Elwyn Caldwell. We lost him this past Friday but he is in heaven now.
  • I am thankful for my neighbor, Tootsie, she has helped me in so many, many ways over these years that I have lived here in Savannah. She will never know just how much!!
  • I am thankful for those who call me "their friend". I always feel so very special when someone tells me that. I love each one of you.
May God bless ya'll while FLIP FLOP is gone for a few days. I will miss being on line but will be back here as soon as I can...You know me!!

I came over to ask you how the interview went and did you get the job. And I see you already answered my question. Whoo hooo! You're a working lady now, my friend. Welcome to my world:) But I think you will love it, and I know you will be good at it!

I am with Melli -- I wish I was going with you this weekend. I have attended a Women of Faith conference before and they are awesome. And being able to do it with a blogger friend, would make it that much more of a super weekend. Have fun, sweet lady! Oh, and watch your mailbox. A little birdie might be leaving you something....
