BETTY IS IN HEAVEN TODAY!!!

I received a phone call this morning at 7 a.m. from a friend at church telling me that our friend Betty went home to be with the Lord this morning at 2:15 a.m. She is so happy now and we are missing her terribly here in our world!!

I am not sad at all like I thought I would be but just the opposite!! I am so happy for her and now looking at the picture at the top of my blog that does makes me sad!! I am joyful knowing that she has just beat me to HEAVEN!!

She was a great person to have known. It was a delight to have been able to take care of her in her last days here on this earth!! I loved her and I know that she knew that. She will be missed by so many many people. She had so many friends. It was unbelievable the amount of people who stopped by to just tip toed in to see her one more time!! Those are true friends!!

Her visitation is tonight and her funeral is tomorrow on the 4th of July!! I guess you can say her home going is really going to be celebrated.

SO heres to my friend!! Betty have a good time and PARTY ON!! Have an AWESOME time!!

FLIP FLOP...Your friend Sandy

"Beautiful in the eyes of the Lord is the death of one of His saints".
Sandy, your attitude is so 'right on'. While it is sad that Betty is no longer here with her friends and family it is also a marvelous blessing to know she is in the presence of her Bridegroom. WOW, isn't that a beautiful thought.
We will all see her soon.

Our hearts ache for our separation from our friend while they rejoice at the knowledge that Jesus promised to go and prepare a place for us, and because of his finished work on the cross, we know this to be true. We have an assurance of eternal life and no fear of death. May all of us be
blessed to have a friend like you to walk with while on this earth...
~~~Blessings~~~
I know how it is to loose someone really close to you. I know it will hurt a little while. I know that you will catch yourself picking up the phone to give her call...But you also know that you will see her again in heaven. And than the party will really start :)
You are in my thoughts.
That's exactly how I felt after the initial shock of losing my mother. Oh sure, there was grief and loss....but soon after, after I saw her at peace and no longer in pain. I knew she was happy and ready for her maker!!!
You have my deepest sympathies and glad you are okay with it.
Thanks for letting me know.
I am thinking of you. I know what is like to loose someone...family or friend who is very close to your heart. The pain is something hard to process alone...but with the LORD all things are possible. He is the great comforter. Just think Betty is singing praises and running around heaven have a Grand time. Better than anything here. You and the family will be in my prayers.
