Monday and we all were up and going early!! The Daisy's (from Lazy Daisy Log) are here from Va visiting with us for a week!! When Lazy Daisy and Mr. Wonderful come it is always the FUNWEEK of my whole year!!
They arrived late Saturday night having driven around 550 miles!! They come back here to Savannah in order to visit those that support them in their ministry. They are missionaries and work through an organization called ETS (Equipping The Saints). It is something else! You cannot believe the enormaity of it till you go and see!! EVeryone should go and see what they do...RIGHT Melli!!??
They went to church Sunday morning. They needed to reconnect with good friends plus worship!! While at church they both got sick. They made it through church and Sunday School but came back to our house and slept until they both felt better. They are fine today!!
WE had our small group bible study last night. We had a great time with them showing us their powerpoint presentation about ETS. Daisy had put it together for their supporters to see!! She did a great job!!
Today we got up and Daisy and I went to Curves!! We had a good time there...except I had to weigh in today so that is NEVER fun!! I lost a few inches but gained some pounds!! OOOPS!! Oh well, Maybe next month!! smile!!
Mr. Wonderful had promised Daisy that he would take her to Daisy, Ga. so we loaded up into their car and off we went to Daisy!! I did not know there was such a place!! It is a cute very very small town. Knowing Daisy she had to have her picture taken every place that you could find the word...DAISY!!
After that we had to take pictures of our Savannah BIG COW!! She is cute!! She even has a charm braclet on!! She hates FLEAS too. When you live here in SAvannah that is something that just naturally HATE!! FLEAS are so very very bad here!!
As we were walking to eat lunch, I did not see a water main hole that the cover had been removed. I stepped right in it!! It was very deep!! I fell pretty hard. My right foot twisted and thank God it did not break my ankle!! God was looking out after me for sure!! I got a good scraped left knee and I will probably be sore in the morning!! Mr. Wonderful got very mad and since has called the city to report it!! With my soft bones I am very blessed to have come away with just scrapes and no broken bones!! WHEW!!
WE had a a good lunch and did some more running around. Bought some cookies at the famous Byrd Cookie company!! I even bought some this time!! They are so very good!!
What a day we have had. Tonight they are off to visit some supporters!! When they come it is always a busy week for them. We are hoping to get a movie in maybe and always some really good fun and laughing.

You two girls are having too much fun, now behave yourselves. Just jealous because I can not be there with you two. Just enjoy one another and watch those man-holes, they can be very devestating to some people. Don't break a leg, just have fun. Love Mother
Color me JEALOUS!!! I am SO glad you are both having such a wonderful time together. Keep sharing it with all of us!
Listen to your mother! hehe Oooooh it sounds like you're all having such a wonderful time...being together with friends and acting like tourists is always fun:-) Oh dear, what a shame you hurt youself like that but hopefully nothing that won't heal quickly!! Keep having fun:-) xoxo
I'm a little green! I hope you all have a GREAT time and enjoy every moment with each other.
:-) Susan
Thank God you are ok! Man, since my hip replacement I have fallen twice because I wasn't paying attention. I hope you feel ok tomorrow.
OHoooo, Sandy, Don't go hurting your knee....Is it alright tonight??
I have never heard of Daisy,Ga..Fred said he has heard of that town. When you and daisy hit the bed tonight, you will sleep tight.Be careful tomorrow.
Talk later, Baba
Sandy, I am so glad you didn't break your ankle! Sorry about your bruises and scrapes.....
I hope the chicken got away and somebody will give him a good home and he will die from old age as a pet. I really don't think that's what happened though.......
Sandy,
Those kinds of slips and falls can be really painful. Try to take it easy and let it heal! Glad nothing was broken.
:)
Sounds like you had a fun time apart from the fall down the manhole! Glad you didn't do any serious damage.
Hi Sandy. I'm so glad you didn't have any serious injury. Open holes like that could be very dangerous. It's good that it has been reported.
I hope your sore ankle will heal soon and it won't cause you any problem walking.
Thanks for sharing these great photos! I like the idea of posing in places with your name on it. I don't think we have landmarks with my name though.
Take care!
Hiya Sandy - Hope your ankle heals quickly! That's no fun. And thanks for always taking such good care of my momma. She really loves you. Maybe someday we'll actually get to meet, you and I!
Oh! I'm so glad you guys are having sO much fun! I never heard of Daisy, GA! What a perfect little spot for our Daisy!
I do hope your ankle is okay today. Sometimes a twist can be as bad as a sprain... I hope you can walk!
ETS is SOME organization! I'm sure the supporters are going to enjoy the PP presentation! :)
Carry on little soldiers! Continue the fun having ... without me... *sigh* (NEXT trip!)
glad you didn't break your ankle! Isn't it fun being with our blog friends in person! Carol and Terry were busy while here trying to cram as much sightseeing in as possible before heading back to Kansas and now that they are home they are exhausted. I didn't have much energy yesterday either. Didn't realize how tired I was till everyone left.
Aye a wounded knee, you should feel like a little girl with that ! Hope it doesn't hurt anymore.
You mentioned "Curves" what is it exactly ? I have read it so many times now, is it a fitness center all over the States ?
What fun... take care of that ankle!
