Thinking Blogger Award
not to be left out

I had not posted that I had won this because...well I guess I did not understand until suddenly I saw these popping up everywhere!! My friend Melli let me know that I was to let everyone know too!!

Well I goofed...Now I should be thanking Susan at Learning for a Lifetime for nominating me for a thinking blogger award!! My, I guess I did not know that I was a thinker!! I just write down what comes to my mind. My hubby calls it propaganda!! Huh!! I guess if you call that thinking then that is what it is!!

I would like to thank Susan for nominating me for this special award. I could not have done it without the special help from my friend Lazy Daisy over at Lazy Daisy Log and her hubby Mr. Wonderful. They convinced me that I should start blogging almost 18 months ago. They also helped me come up with my wonderful name of Flip Flop Floozie!! Thank you so much for getting me started and introducing me to a wonderful group of awesome people!! (sign comes up..your time is up...clap, clap, applause...I have to sit down now)!!

I now have to nominate 5 others...Since I have been late in posting mine, several have already been awarded the thinking blogger awards. Now I have to come up with new ones. I love you all and do not want to offend any one. I am going to just pick and then say I could pick 30 or 40 here easily!!

#1 This should be my daughter Julie from Jules Journal. She is after all my daughter!! She does not have a lot of time to blog but tries whenever she can. She runs a daycare plus has 4 children of her own. I really wonder how she even gets to do one a week for that matter. You should visit her. She comes from GOOD STOCK!! Smile!!

#2 Lee-Ann from Pear Tree Cottage is one I love to go to every day too. She lives in Australia. I love it because she is a very sweet lady. I would LOVE to meet her. We talk just like we know each other really well. She said that anytime I could get there we would sit down and have a cuppa tea. I think that we would get along great. Go visit her...!!!

#3 Cats, Goats, Quotes and Musings is the next one. I have just lately found this blog. If you love cats (and well you know that I do) you will like going here. She has so many beautiful cats and some great stories to go along with them. Stop by and see her.

#4 I know that Daisy from Lazy Daisy Log has already received several but I just cannot help it. She is one of my main sources of inspiration and help during my days when things just are not going right for me. She calls me sometimes and gets me straight again. After all she got me here in blogland in the FIRST place. She and Mr. Wonderful are good friend to my hubby and myself so I just have to do this...

#5 Melli...Yeap another friend but a great thinker when it comes to writing!! She makes me think and lately I am seeing her blogs change. She is beginning to see that being a Christian is one of the most important things in life. I love her blog Insanity Prevails. If you have not stopped by there well you are in for a BIG TREAT!! She is a verrrrryyyy BIG thinker!! She should get several of these awards. My last thinking blog award rightfully goes to her!!

Here is what the five I nominated need to do:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,

2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,

FLIP FLOP FLOOZIE STEPPING DOWN FROM STAGE NOW WITH BIG AWARD IN HANDS!!!

Congratulations on your nomination. I also nominated LeeAnn for this award two or three weeks ago. I don't think she's actually done the meme yet though!
She has so many friends in blogland, doesn't she??

Awwwwwww.... shucks! *blushing*... you weren't supposed to go and do that! I am so glad though that you like my little blog! It surely has brought me a lot of new GOOD friends! I wouldn't trade THAT for anything!!!

And I'm so glad you chose Lee-Ann -- cuz I haven't been by her place in a long time and I need to add her to my Reader so I won't forget again! I'm off to do that now! I really do enjoy her too!

Hey babe, thanks for your very warm words of encouragement. You know I adore you and especially since your family (Julie and Mom) thinks I'm a celebrity! You have come a long way with your blogging and look at all "the invisible friends" you have now. I am so pleased you decided to take the challenge and become a blogger yourself.
