Feast One Hundred & Twenty One

Appetizer

Which language would you like to learn and why?
At this age, I think I had just better stick with English. Sometimes I am not doing very well with it. But I figure that once you get past 60 you are priviledged to use words in any order that you please!! You deserve it by that time!!
Soup
Soup
What's the funniest thing you've heard or read so far this week?

I had fun watching "'Til Death " last night on TV...it was very funny. I sat and laughed all the way through it...

Salad
Which movie was so bad you couldn't watch the whole thing?

I know that I have turned off some because of the bad language. I don't remember their names because I don't want to remember their titles. They do not deserve me remembering them. I hate it when that one ridiculous word is used when it really does not even NEED to be used!! I have walked out of the theatre once in a Charlie Sheen movie. That was a long time ago. It was just plain STUPID!! I think it was called, "Hot Shots"...either part 1 or 2!!

Main Course
If there were a holiday in your honor that didn't use your actual name, what would the day be called?
"Fun Grandma Day"....Oh I don't know!! I would not like having a day in my honor!! That would just embarrass me to death in the first place. I don't do anything to be honored about in the first place!!

Dessert
Name one movie which is coming out soon that you would like to see.

Oh my...I love movies!! I was raised on Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers!! (boy this one is going to be hard for Melli...she does not like movies)...."Blood Diamond"; "Unaccompanied Minors"....OOOPS!! That is two!! We do not get to go often because of my husband working so much... we depend mostly on Netflix anymore....plus it does cost a lot to go to the movie but we get senior citizen discount now. See there is an advantage to being 60!!!

Hope this doesn't post twice. Tried to post a comment and had to be logged in to blogger, ugh. Anyway, I would like to go see Night at the Museum. Looks funny. Come by my feast. There's no calories at this feast. Haha:)

Ohhhhh I do believe you are RIGHT about your appetizer! By 60 you should ONLY have to speak your native tongue - and spelling should no longer count either! LOL!

I think everyone deserves to be "honored" for some reason or another... even if it's only a one-time thing! I would certainly agree you're a Fun Grandma! And a fun friend too!

Sorry for not being here for a while! It has been a tough time for me, with first my mother seriously ill in hospital and then me sick too. I think it might has turn now, so I guess I'm back :-)

The big news: We have been honored to be a finalist in the Weblog Awards 2006!!! YEEEEAH! Its' tough competition with the famous bloggers, phew!

So I have a humble request: help me, the little ant, to fight against the big elephants in the Weblog awards 2006 by voting for Lifecruiser every day 7-15 dec and write something about my fight on your blog!

I need all support I can get! Spread the word to everyone! Ants against elephants! *lol*

♥ Vote every day here ♥
(Why don't make it to the startpage in your browser?)

Thanks a lot for the great feast you served! I guess a special Granny-Day is a great idea =) My son Luis would love it... Grannys are the very best! No need to be embarrassed about a special day for you and all the other fun grandmas =)

Thanks for stopping by, Sandy. "Sanni" is just a kind of nick-name, but I´m called Sanni since... I guess round my 13th birthday. Only my passport calls me "Sandra".

Have a great weekend,

San

What a delicious feast. You always serve good stuff.
We have never tried Netflix but we have pay-per-view movies on TV so we do that some though.
Have a super weekend, friend.
