Feast One Hundred & Thirteen

Appetizer
What is your favorite herb or spice?

This is not a good question for this NON COOK so the only one that even comes CLOSE to mind is CINNAMON. It is sweet and always makes things taste wonderful!!!

Soup
Name a song you like but haven't heard in a long time.

Mainly, anymore I only listen to our Christian radio station here so there would be many oldies but goodies that I would love to hear again.

Salad
If you were to take just one minute to write down as many things as you can think of that you need (not want) to do, approximately how many things would there be?

I don't need anything. I have everything that I NEED right here in this home here on Sugar Mill!!!

Main Course
Tell something interesting about one of your family members (nothing scandalous, please, just something unique).

We are just a plain family. Most of us are all farmers. My son is one of the first to go completely through college. He finished the whole four years and has a degree. I am sure that is unique in our family. I was homecoming queen. That also was a unique thing in our family. See we are just a plain ordinary Midwestern family.

Dessert
What's the latest you've ever stayed awake?

When my hubby and I were dating, he and I went to an all night prom and then an event afterwards. We stayed up the whole time. Course we were 16 and 17 at that time. I am totally for sure we neither one could do it again!! I know hubby could not do it and as for me....well I would TRY but might make it till 1:00 or so if you kept me really busy!!

Now bring on your Friday Feasts!!! Flip Flip

You were Homecoming Queen?! How wonderful! That is something! And we didn't have too many college graduates in my family either. (as a matter of fact... I'm the youngest of 7 and was only the 3rd to graduate high school!) My eldest sister DID go to college and has had a fabulous career as a mathematician. But she's the only one that went to college. But even the drop-outs made something of themselves! So it's not AS important as everyone says -- but it sure can make it EASIER!!! I HIGHLY recommend college as the way to go, and commend your son for having done it!

I knew about the homecoming queen...I read it here. :o) I think that's awesome. And a college degree is great for your son. (Oh and by the way......I truly admire and look up to farmers!! They work for hours a day, with not enough pay. Tedious HARD work....and long, long days!!! So, I'd be proud to be a farmer. BTW-I'm a farmer's daughter.)

One of our menu items is things you need TO DO. Not need. So, whaddya need to do today? LOL

Oh, and I answered your question under your comment on my blog -- about being up 48 hours.

Great feast. I love Southern Gospel myself (Bill Gaither and friends).

Ya, I'm early on SPHunt, but we'll be gone really early and won't be home 'til late morning...we'll be watching the sunrise over the ocean. :o) And so many of the SPHunters are overseas, their day starts 10 hours earlier than mine.

Have a great evening.

My hubby and I are the firsts in our families for higher education also! And farming is becoming more and more unique these days since the population is going up in most places!

I"m with you on the cinnamon...hmmm, makes me think of Panara Bread's 'bear claws'. This rainy day would be perfect for that...wait, I'm losing weight so I'll pass. Old song...I love, Disneys, 'Once Upon A Dream'. I always have a 'to do' list...frequently I lose them! Unusual thing a family member does??? Our daughter is an 'rn'& has helped save kids lives literally....(sorry that sounds like bragging) and built her own huge deck recently with hubby as assistant...that woman can do anything she puts her hand to..even help change the car brakes when the guys get stuck. Stay up all night...a few times, sorrow...reading a good book...smile. And lets not forget insomnia, once in a great while. Sandy, hope you have a relaxing Saturday...and a sweet worship day to follow.
