God Sends Angels

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a
distance, each looks like every ot
her horse. But if one stops the car, or
is walking by, you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the
eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen
not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is
amazing. Listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for
the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller
horse in the field. Attached to her bridle is a small bell. It lets her blind
friend know where she is, so he can follow her. As you stand and watch
these two friends, you will see how she is always checking on him, and
that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is,
trusting that she will not lead him astray.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just
because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.
He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when
we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being helped by those
whom He places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping
others.

May the angels w
atch over you always..........

What a GREAT story! I needed that reminder today. It's hard sometimes, when you feel like you are the blind horse, isn't it? It's also hard when you are the one who is to be leading and helping. In our busyness, I sometimes forget to look around and make sure all is well with those around me! Thanks, Sandy!

Oh my....this brought me to tears!! What a loving, LOVING story!! My Sandy...I just could bawl - only 'cause it's so endearing. We women are weird that way, huh?

Thanks for leaving a comment. I know what you mean about the meme being so long!! I was debating whether to do it myself. LOL And since you have your blog on blogspot, I can certainly help you get it to bold or italicize. I'll put it in another comment tho.

Just wanted to tell you I added another blog entry this morning -- my finished afghan that I only need to knot. With a photo!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR FATHER!!!! 88 years!! That is just so awesome!!

Hi again Sandy...
Regarding your comment you left for the afghan blog.

If you highlight and all that...then click on the icon for bold/italics/link...then in the window where you're typing your blog entry, you'll see that there is a (span) or a (/span) -those should show with the < > tags/tag closings for your highlighted words. Either bold, italics, a href and if you see that....

Just finish your blogging and click publish/republish.

It should all come out then.

If you have the html window open and you see the icons while typing your entry...there should be a "preview" button at the bottom. Click preview, then you'll see.

Once again, if you need help or don't understand my little 'tutorial' above, just holler!! I'll do a screen shot for you.

happy blogversary sandy. i'm celebrating my 1st blogversary also, along with my birthday this whole month of august.

beautiful story of the 2 horses. it even makes me think of how our walk is strictly by faith, and many times we don't quite understand what God is doing in our lives, or where He is leading us. but we listen for His voice, or the prompting of His Spirit so we can follow Him to where He's leading us. eventually, we get the understanding, but it's all about trusting in God, even when we can't see ahead.

beautiful blogsite you have.
