HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL MY BLOGGING FRIENDS!!!

I hope that everyone has a great day whatever you might be doing. Let us remember that we would not be doing what we would like to be doing today if our country was not FREE!!
I don't think we really understand the meaning of freedom here in our wonderful country!! We just take it for granted most of the time. We go about doing everything that we do from day to day and don't really understand that there are still people in the world that cannot come and go like they want to do. They cannot worship the God that they want to worship without wondering if they will be killed. That always makes me think how free we really are.
When my hubby and I went on our mission trip, we found that out. After that trip I understood the meaning of freedom a lot better.
Today remember that our freedom is a gift!! Don't ever take it for granted!!
Have a great day!!

I'm with you. What would we do if we couldn't worship freely? Don't even want to think about it. Have a safe & happy 4th!

Yes indeed!!! A life in America given to us by the bravery of others who traveled here from the old world in ships of unknown qualities --to survive the trek and make it our HOME--not to mention those who gave lives in so many ways that we can BE here, and a freedom like no where else!!!

Well stated Sandy!!

Today my family has been "freely" partying in our yard and playing bocce and baseball and ALMOST got in some volleyball before the RAINs came! Hopefully this will all be clearing up by dark and we'll still get some fireworks in! Hope YOUR day was a fabulous one too!
