Saturday Is Here

It is a beautiful day here in the South. The windows are open and we have a great breeze this morning. Our cat Simon has finally slowed down from running all over the place. He is now talking to my husband and telling him something which only my husband seems to understand. (They talk to each other you know)!!

I will be getting ready soon to go to a Memorial for the one little quad that did not live when one of our pastors and his wife had their babies back in November. Her name was Emily. She was just not supposed to grow up here on earth so God took her home instead. I try to go out to their home once a week and help with the remaining 3 other babies. They are a delight to watch grow up.

Today I have no idea what is on the schedule. It is so pretty. It would be just fun to sit and watch the day go by.

I know we do have church tonight. We have been going to Saturday night service for sometime now. It seemed odd for a while but now it is just as natural as going on Sunday morning .

I am trying to keep this crazy pain at bay but it just keeps coming up to give me a hard time. I try to ignore it as much as I can.

I am also trying to keep busy and watch all the wonderful things that are going on around me. The weather is so beautiful now. I need to keep my mind directed to that and off of myself.

Everyone have a blessed and peaceful weekend.

This is my new hanging plant...does anyone know the name of it????

Enjoy your day. It is gorgeous here too. I painted the front door - two coats just aren't enough. I'll put another one on tomorrow.

Focus on the positive. Enjoy the three babies... So sorry to hear about the 4th.

Is that a new guinea impatiens plant?? It is a gorgeous color!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain, hope you get relief often from it. I just read your comment over at Peggy's about Sophie's Heart, I just enjoyed that book so much. Is there anything so special as a wonderful book? Growing up a reader was a lifeline for me...I didn't get saved untill I was 32..and what a wonderful peace became mine when I asked the Lord to save me.~~Your new plant is very beautiful..I've seen that kind of flower before but I don't know the name of it. Just wondering, do you go to church Sat.eve and Sun.morn.? Thats the first I've heard of service on Sat. Blessings to you!

Hope your Saturday has been blessed! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of the sweet little one. She was just needed in heaven right now to watch over her siblings.

I know that your pain is miserable and living with it can be overwhelming. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

BTW: I talk to my cat too. ;o)

*hugs*
